    DAM Expirations

    Hi Magnolia Community!
How can I enable content expiration for assets in the DAM? Such as for images, PDFs, spreadsheets, etc.?

I thought expiration dates and delayed publishing were "out of the box" functionality for most CMS tools by now. Am I overlooking something obvious in the documentation?

On the security level it would be more difficult to implement, since such assets would still be published, and therefore available via direct URL. For this you'd have to do some coding in order to, for example, automatically unpublish assets based on the expiration field in some timer-task.

    Richard
